Paciano has always reserved a high care to its wonderful and harmonious natural beauties in order to offer them to the enchanted sight of tourists.In the latest years, the Town of Paciano has focused its efforts in the search of new solutions for a better quality of life through a kind of politics of high protection of environment and increasing of useful services and of the wide historical, cultural and artistic estate.
Paciano has also been elected "Ideal Italian village" in a competition promoted by the Italian magazine "Airone" and by the European Economic Community in 1991 because "Living there is fantastic" as per statement of motives!
