Spoleto is a picturesque and austere city rooted in the hill of S.
Elia, and has a history that is many thousands of years old. It is
one of the main towns in Umbria on account of the beauty of its
early mediaeval and Renaissance monuments

The
Terni touristic area offers a variety of tourist attractions to
cater for the most diverse interests. The city has
remarkable artistic features ranging from the Roman
period to the 19th century. We should not forget to mention the waterfall known as
the Cascata delle Marmore, a unique spectacle which has inspired
the creative genius of painters and writers.
